One of the most beguiling and strikingly original pieces of work you'll hear all year
THE SUN
Accordionist/percussionist Jeremy Barnes and violinist Heather Trost take audiences on a passionate romp through the traditional sounds of Eastern Europe. Described as ‘intense torchbearers of a new-world folk', their largely instrumental music is an
exuberant mix of folk, gypsy song, klezmer and Mexican fanfare.
A Hawk And A Hacksaw have recorded with members of internationally renowned Balkan brass band Fanfare Cioc?rlia in Romania, performed alongside some of the greatest names in Roma and Gypsy music at the Barbican in London and toured with American contemporaries Beirut and Calexico.
Joined on stage by guest cymbalom maestro Balázs Unger.
