It's cocktail hour! Adding a sophisticated French bossa nova twist to British new-wave classics from the 80s, Nouvelle Vague's chic chanteuses purr their way through an evening of stylish reinterpretations.
Tracks like Blondie's ‘Heart of glass' and Echo and the Bunnymen's ‘The killing moon' are infused with Caribbean flavours (reggae, salsa, calypso), Brazilian rhythms and jazz. Using percussion, acoustic guitar and accordion with smoldering vocals, Nouvelle's multi-instrumentalists transform each song into an original masterpiece.
