Children's Cheering Carpet
Compagnia TPO

It's about theatre as a shared experience and I've never seen anything quite like it
TONY REEKIE, DIRECTOR, BANK OF SCOTLAND'S CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL

It's authentic visual happiness, a sort of enchantment enfolding the audience (also grown-ups) inside a magic atmosphere: before our eyes images of absolute harmony unfold
EOLO

Exploding with colours and shapes, this magic carpet sprouts fabulous gardens: a funny-looking lawn, musical steps, giant lotus leaves and all kinds of flowers and fish wanting to play hide-and-seek.

Combining multimedia art with theatre, using touch sensors and digital installations, the interactive carpet responds to the pressure of feet and bodies, translating every movement into fantastic images and sounds based on landscapes, architecture and colour.

Presenting three very different experiences - the Kurdish, Japanese and Italian Gardens - this enchanting magic carpet fascinates children of all ages.

Japanese Garden suitable for children 5-11
Italian Garden suitable for children over 6
Kurdish Garden suitable for children 4-8

Please note latecomers will not be admitted.
