Walking on water, skimming across the surface or floating majestically by, a cast of colourful characters turns Perth's Swan River into a stage for a dazzling pageant.

Heads burst into flame and streetlights rise from the deep and erupt into fire, while larger-than-life performers ride floating bicycles, a flaming boat and a giant bed. Musical pyrotechnics bring the surreal evening to a glittering climax.

Watch the whole spectacle from vantage points along the river bank - pack a picnic, bring your family and friends, settle back and see the water blaze with colour.

Arrive early to see the Welcome to Country Fri 8 Feb, 8.30pm
On the banks of the bilya-maarl (Swan river), we mark respect for the living Culture of the traditional custodians of the land. Artists from Ilotopie (France) have been invited to take part in this very special ceremony.
