This funny and touching film will strike a chord with everyone in a world where disappearing jobs, outsourcing and culture clashes are becoming the norm. Todd Anderson (Josh Hamilton) learns that his Seattle office plans to outsource its work to a call centre in India and he has been chosen to train the telemarketing staff in the fine art of speaking ‘American' and selling a range of all-American knick-knacks.

A stranger in a strange land, Todd's openness and vulnerability make for a steep learning curve as he labours to teach his charges the finer points of selling kitsch Americana like Wisconsin cheese hats, miniature flags and hot doggy toasters.
