About the New London Consort
Philip Pickett's New London Consort is lauded worldwide for its fresh and compelling interpretations of early masterpieces played on period instruments. In their first visit to Australia, they present two concerts featuring Bach's magnificent Easter Oratorio and Vivaldi's much loved Gloria.
The Consort's singers and instrumentalists are all acclaimed soloists with an undisputed reputation for artistry and virtuosity. Inspired by the vivid imagination and distinguished scholarship of their director Philip Pickett, they transform familiar music into an exhilarating concert experience.
A regular guest at major festivals and concert halls and for the last nine years an Associate Ensemble of London's South Bank Centre their concerts will be a highlight of the Festival. This is an exclusive opportunity to hear masterpieces of the Baroque revitalised and refreshed by the extraordinary musicians of the New London Consort.

The Perth Concert Hall features raked seating for 1,729 people and is surrounded by appointed private rooms, foyers and outdoor areas suitable for theatre style class room, cocktail, dining, product launches, trade exhibitions and marquee events.
The auditorium is also home to a spectacular custom designed 3000 pipe organ.
Transport
Located on St George's Terrace in Perth, and is well serviced by buses. The free CAT includes a stop near the Perth Concert Hall at Victoria Avenue. The Red CAT operates every five minutes from 6:40am - 6:20pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays) and hourly on weekends between 8:30am and 5:00pm.

Undercover parking is available in the bi-level Carpark No. 7 at the Perth Concert Hall. Street entry is from Terrace Road. Lift access to the venue foyer is available from the second level. 24hour open-air parking is also available adjacent to the Perth Concert Hall on Terrace Road. Fees apply.
