Perth Writers Festival :: An Evening with Naomi Wolf
Naomi Wolf shot to fame with the publication of her first book, The Beauty Myth, named by The New York Times as one of the most important books of the 20th century. A landmark international bestseller, it launched a new wave of feminism in the early 1990s and established Wolf as an important social critic and political activist.
In her latest book The End of America:A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot Wolf questions the state of democracy in America, arguing that political freedom is under assault and identifying a ‘fascist shift' in American politics.
An ardent campaigner for equality in politics and society Naomi Wolf encourages people to voice their concerns and enact change. Join her for an illuminating discussion about her new book.
