Urban Storytelling
Stories at The Moth is New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket
WALL STREET JOURNAL
What has rapidly become one of the hottest events in town ... the Moth is an evening of unashamedly old-fashioned storytelling ... the performances are enthralling, funny and moving, with a typical New York intensity
THE TIMES
Supported By
Everyone has a favourite ghost story, break-up story or hard-luck story that they love to share, embellish and repeat. Now there's an organisation dedicated to rekindling the art and magic of storytelling - The Moth, New York's hottest literary phenomenon.
Featuring five storytellers who spellbind with ten-minute tales, this is storytelling at its old-fashioned best. Without notes or script, the master storytellers weave their narratives around a central theme.
Hosted by Dan Kennedy, McSweeney's contributor and author of Loser Goes First and the recently published Rock On. Also featuring some of the best wordsmiths in town for the Festival.
Full line-up released in December.
