Private Giving

Every year, Perth International Arts Festival works hard to bring you the very best that the arts have to offer.

From around the world, and from our own wealth of performing talent, comes an annual festival like no other.

In the past five years alone, your Festival has been responsible for commissioning 11 new works, including visual arts, theatre, dance, classical music, opera and jazz, including West Australian Opera’s extremely popular The Love of the Nightingale, by Richard Mills and Timberlake Wertenbaker.

We have also brought you some of the best artists from around the world, from The Merce Cunningham Dance Company to James Thierree’s La Veillee des Abysses to Robert Lepage’s epic The Dragons’ Trilogy.

And we’re far from done.

In 2008, your Festival is looking forward to a whole new series of commissioning works, called Tales of the West, to bring uniquely Western Australian stories to life.

We are increasing our priority to make arts accessible to everyone.
We are looking forward to bringing you an international programme like nothing you have ever seen before.

Your donation to Perth International Arts Festival will allow us to continue to deliver you the finest international and Australian art, as well as commission new Australian works from the wealth of stories we have waiting to be told.

Donors will be recognised on our website and in our annual report, and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
