Told in the words of soldiers from the legendary Black Watch Regiment of Scotland, this bayonet-sharp slice of physical theatre bombards with a mix of political comment, wry humour, barrack-room banter and regimental history.

Explosive performances from the impressive ten-man cast propel you seamlessly from a poolroom in a Scottish pub to an armoured truck in Iraq, from regimental marching songs with bagpipes and drums to the numbing limbo of Camp Dogwood.

Described as ‘a glorious piece of theatre - raw, truthful, uncomfortable, political, funny', multi-award-winning Black Watch received unanimous critical acclaim and overwhelming audience response at the Edinburgh Festival.

Black Watch is an intimate portrayal of what it's like to be on the ground in the ‘war on terror' - and what it feels like to come back home.
